from iceland to tolo

Dive Tolo is run by Hugo and Filippa - brought together by a shared passion for travel and exploration.

We met in Iceland, where our journey together began. Since then, life and diving have taken us across different parts of the world, including Iceland and Mexico, before bringing us back to Greece - a place that has always felt like home and where our next chapter begins.

Today, we are proud to be the new owners of Dive Tolo, previously known as Intro Dive Tolo. While the name is new, our goal is to continue the strong foundation that was built here, while adding our own touch.

For us, diving is more than an activity - it’s a way to connect with nature, challenge yourself, and share unforgettable moments with others.

We’re beyond excited to become part of the Tolo community and to meet both the people who live here and those who are just passing through. Whether it’s your first dive or your hundredth, we look forward to welcoming you and sharing our passion - both in and out of the water.

Meet the Team

Behind Dive Tolo is a small, dedicated team passionate about creating safe, high-quality, and personal diving experiences. With international experience, attention to detail, and a shared love for the ocean, we focus on making every diver feel welcome, confident, and well taken care of - both in and out of the water.

Owner & Head Instructor

Hugo bulbulyan

Hugo is the owner and daily manager of the dive center. He is French, but grew up in Greece, where he started diving at the age of 14. In 2026, he celebrates his 15th year as a PADI Instructor. While he enjoys recreational diving, Hugo’s true passion lies in the technical side of the sport - exploring deep environments, caves, and the kind of diving that requires focus, discipline, and respect for the water. His career has taken him around the world, from the warm caves of Mexico to the cold waters and extreme conditions of Iceland. Over the years, he has built experience in a wide range of environments and today, he also spends part of the winter working in Antarctica during their "summer" season, one of the most remote and challenging places a diver can operate. This global experience is reflected in his teaching style: structured, calm, and focused on helping every diver feel prepared, safe, and confident underwater. Greece is where his passion for diving began, and after many years of experience in the Mediterranean Sea, it was only natural for him to settle here and run his own dive center - sharing his passion and passing on his knowledge.

Filippa Seehausen

Filippa is the creative and organizational force behind Dive Tolo, making sure that everything runs smoothly both before and after you enter the water. Originally from Denmark and most recently based in Iceland, she brings a background in design, branding, and guest experience. At Dive Tolo, she manages communication, planning, and the overall atmosphere of the base. While Hugo focuses on the technical and instructional side, Filippa focuses on the experience around it, creating a environment where divers can simply relax and enjoy their time.
